James Thomas

James graduated from Berklee College of Music and Musicians Institute.  He has been teaching drums and percussion for 8 years and brings 28 years of experience in performance and recording to his instruction expertise.

James tailors each lesson plan to fit the student’s specific needs and interests, using books and charts, recorded music on CD and iPod, and exciting improvisation.  He readily shares his wealth of

knowledge and experience with his students, striving to make each lesson fun, rewarding and challenging, and always with the ultimate goal of building each student’s confidence, proficiency and deeper knowledge and growing skills of a consummate drummer and percussionist.
